Effect

After inviting an assistant on stage, the magician takes out the metal detector explaining that these things are used for discovering hidden coins. After moving the detector over the volunteer it is seen to bleep and flash, detecting metal where there is none!

The magician then pulls coins from the person with the help of the metal detector before dropping them into an empty crisp tin.

 

After the detector finds no more coins, the magician offers a game. Placing the lid on the tin of coins, he offers to give a prize to the person guessing how many coins are in the tin.....to help he gives it a shake so the coins can be heard.

 

After one last shake the coin sound melts away transformed into the sound of crisps!!

When the magician removes the lid, the whole tube is now full of crisps which can be presented to your assistant, including the tube if desired!
